The Motion 2 will begin in 2010: Kawasaki single supplier of the motors?

On Saturday on April 11, on the eve of the stormy GP of the Qatar, the international motorcycle federation (FIM), it has established officially that: from 2010 the new class Moto2 will replace the present one 250cc; the supplier of the motors will be the alone one and he will be chosen within next month.

Claude Danis (FIM) has explained the reasons of the choice of the single supplier at the level of motor:“ We had already decided that the loom would have been opened to all the houses producers, but we wanted to have the control of the motors with the objective of reducing the costs. The decision on the one who will be the single supplier will be taken next month, but we have already two possible names.”

The total technical rule of the class Moto2 must still be confirmed, but the introduction of the category to be already left from next year (till now the beginning was fixed for 2011), it might speed the decision-making process up. Concerning proposals are not to the moment the introduction from the monorubber.

According to news of the advance arrival of 600cc in the motorworld one, the pages of situated Visordown reaches most indiscreet news: even though the Dorna still has not taken a definitive decision, according to any very not much official passage voices, the Kawasaki would have already been chosen like single supplier of the motors used in the future class Moto2. For now it is about only a voice, of rumours it anchors to verify; someone is that it would be a great blow for the Akashi house, since till now in many people they were thinking that the choice would have fallen only on Honda or in case on Yamaha.
