The prototype Suzuki V-Strom lit

Earlier this month, we informed our readers that Suzuki has systematically preparing for the imminent launch of the new model Suzuki V-Strom 1000.

Last week, the Japanese launched a dedicated mini-site dedicated to the new motorcycle, published on the page of a very brief trailer, some photos of concept bike, sketch and a detailed history of the model. But obviously, preparing to enter the model involves far greater dimensions than just launch a website on the Internet. Currently, pre-production model of motorcycle passes the final road test. Earlier this week, a working prototype Suzuki V-Strom 1000 2014 model year was seen and photographed in the German Alps. Even after passing inspection, it becomes clear that the production model will look a little different from the concept bike shown at last year's Intermot in Cologne. Also the quality of execution of various components and assemblies suggests that the prototype is under development, as close to the launch of the model in production.

The new Suzuki V-Strom set 1000-cc V-twin engine with liquid cooling, chassis, built around an aluminum frame, front Tokico radial brake calipers with ABS and is equipped with a number of electronic "assistants". It is expected that the model will be the world premiere at the end of 2013, and sales will start in 2014. The new Suzuki V-Strom 1000 will compete with models like the BMW R1200GS, Ducati Multistrada and Yamaha Super Ténéré.
