Suzuki – 25 years of quadrocycle

Honda begins sales of motorcycle on the mixed fuel



Japanese Honda Motor, or to be exact, its Brazilian division Moto Honda da Amazonia Ltda. (HDA), has begun to sale the new motorcycle CG150 Titan Mix in Brazil, which basic feature is the engine working on mixed fuel.

Technology of injection of the mixed fuel (Mix Fuel Injection System) – own working out Honda applied this time in a motorcycle. It is necessary to notice that it is the first-ever serial motorcycle supplied with such system.


New cursor Honda works on a mix of non-polluting fuel (bioethanol) and usual gasoline. It allows not only to reduce harmful emissions, but also to lower cost of fuel for users.

In Brazil the technology of use of the mixed fuel is extended widely enough – approximately 90 % of new cars which are on sale in the Brazilian market, use it. However in motorcycles technology has not received special distribution yet, and Honda CG150 Titan Mix becomes the first bike with the motor for the mixed fuel.

The price of the base version of bike in Brazil will make 6 340 reals (dollars . On a choice from the middle of March four colours – dark blue, red, silvery and black will be offered. Honda plans to sell in the South American market not less than 200 000 copies CG150 Titan Mix in a year.
