KTM RC8R IDM in International German SBK Championship

KTM opens a new chapter of his history in the competitions: next weekend the wonderful one RC8R 1190 factory will run in the competition of opening of the German Championship Superbike (IDM) to Lausitz. The KTM SBK Team Germany will be headed by Konrad Hefele, ex-service man of the competitions on road and championships GP. From 2004 until 2006 it has obtained in fact three consecutive headlines in the class 125cc of the IDM.

The pilots who will defend the colours of the squad orange will be Stefan Nebel, German, three times national sample SBK, and Didier Van Keymeulen, Belgian pilot winner of the cup FIM Superstock 1000 in 2005. The competition of opening of the championship IDM 2009 will comply, for the tithe turned in succession, on the circuit EuroSpeedway Circuit with Lausitz.

Konrad Hefele:“ Stefan Nebel and Didier Van Keymeulen are an ideal couple of pilots: both have experience and are level professionals. The times that they have recorded during the tests are statmi very similar; I am convinced that together will find the motivation and the just stimuli.”

The program KTM in the German Championship Superbike foresees the participation in 8 rendezvous, 16 competitions, in different location inside the German territory, but also about two particular circuits: Salzburg Ring in Austria, close to the factory KTM of Mattighofen and to Assen, in Holland, on the traced out new one GP.
