In that, as to engines, in 2009 modelling year of changes has not occurred – four motors – 2 50-cubes (one duple and one four-cycle), 125 and 150-cubes are still offered buyers on a choice. And here is appearance of cars has undergone to good restyling which as the manufacturer considers, has made model fresher and even more elegant.
So, for example, head light is mounted now on a wheel and repeats design of big brother Liberty – models Beverly. And protection for feet has received the chromeplated fringing with logo Piaggio. The chromeplated inserts have appeared as well on other details, for example, on indexes of turn and on the instrument panel.
The seat became more low on 10mm – 785mm at 50-cubes variants and 795mm and 125 and 150-cubes devices. The saddle also has grown at length – for more comfort of passengers. As an option it is possible to order even more underestimated seat – on 25mm below a standard variant.
It was updated as well a tubular steel frame of the scooter. The car is completed now with disks of new design – 16 radiuses in front and 14 behind. Back brakes remained drum-type, and lobbies disk, but lobbies have thus grown in diameter (with 220mm to 240mm) and are supplied henceforth with 2-piston supports. It is not necessary to forget about a wide choice of additional accessories.
With any engines of model Piaggio Liberty of 2009 are offered in four colours – grey, dark blue, white and black. At 50-cubes volume of a fuel tank – 6 litres, at versions 125сс and 150сс – 7 litres. All 50-cubese cars correspond to ecostandart "Euro-2", and 125 and 150-cubes - "Euro-3". The European price of 125-cubes Piaggio Liberty is 2 500 euros.
