BMW superbike will update

BMW is preparing to launch an updated version of the superbike S1000RR.

Immediately after the show's debut in Munich in April 2008, a sports model BMW Motorrad took the leading position in the segment liter sports bike. However, time does not stand still, and Japanese and Italian rivals gradually crept up to the standard set by the Bavarian company, and ready to compete for the title of best sports bike. It is therefore logical that in an effort to retain its positions, BMW has decided to radically update the model S1000RR. Work on the bike is in full swing, and the network has already appeared the first spy photos of the updated model.

According to some representatives of the British motopressy, a new generation S1000RR receive a "semi-active" suspension HP4 on the model, a number of electronic systems, as well as a more complex system of ABS Bosch, which allows to avoid "lousayda" even when passing through a very complicated twists and turns. As for the appearance of the motorcycle, then judge him too early. However, the German motorcycle, which is in the prototype stage, boasting a new instrument panel and the exhaust system with "dual output".

Representatives of BMW Motorrad is in no hurry to the disclosure of the technical features of the new bike, but confirmed that work on the bike is coming to an end. In a recent interview with the British weekly MCN BMW Motorrad President Stephan Schaller affirmatively stated: «BMW S1000RR will take the initiative in the classroom a good long time."
