BMW in search of innovative ideas



The Bavarian manufacturer of motorcycles BMW Motorrad continues efforts on search and gathering of new innovative ideas in area motobuilding.

Company declared start of competition of ideas under name BMW Innovation Contest 2009. Its participants are offered to share the ideas concerning the future of motorcycles – in absolutely concrete plan – to offer the technological ideas and workings out in the field of a design and design.

Motomorphic – a prototype on wide rubber



Two motor-fans from California – Jim Davis and Victor Komunytsky – in search of an ideal motorcycle were not satisfied that offers a batch production, customs, and have decided to create something absolutely.

The Motion 2 will begin in 2010: Kawasaki single supplier of the motors?



On Saturday on April 11, on the eve of the stormy GP of the Qatar, the international motorcycle federation (FIM), it has established officially that: from 2010 the new class Moto2 will replace the present one 250cc; the supplier of the motors will be the alone one and he will be chosen within next month.

Claude Danis (FIM) has explained the reasons of the choice of the single supplier at the level of motor:“ We had already decided that the loom would have been opened to all the houses producers, but we wanted to have the control of the motors with the objective of reducing the costs. The decision on the one who will be the single supplier will be taken next month, but we have already two possible names.”
