Suzuki GSX-R 1100 Off-Road

We have told a little time to you fà about the R1 with enduro ready for Erzberg Rodeo; now there is the turn of Suzuki GSX-R 1100 off - road prepared at the RM's Racing di Pedrengo, an exceptional mix between a superbike of other times and a motion with regularity.


The motor has been elaborated, increased 4 cylinders to 1200cc, and connected with an order of the swift gas; the original back telaietto has been sawed, and the forcellone substituted with one in aluminium derived from the GSX-R 750 of 1993; the back mono one is an Ohlins of road type, while the forecarriage is taken in loan from a KTM.

To guide a special of this calibre must not be an easy thing, above all taking into account the answer of the motor and of not optimal distribution of the weights. Jawa celebrates 80 years with 650 Dakar

The present JAWA Motion spol. s r.o. is a born Czechoslovak company in 1929 to Prague; this year, to celebrate his first 80 years, will propose a new model of grittier motion and the decidedly modern technical contents: one will call 650 Dakar and will be presented in two versions.


The motor 652cc derives from the single-cylinder Minarelli-Yamaha climbed the XT660; a simple and robust propeller, which it develops about 50cv to 6.500 circles / minute. But the Italian components climbed the Dakar do not finish here: there will be also the fork Pots, brakes Grimeca and other sides produced by Verlicchi and Bitubo.

The motion should weigh about 190 Kg dry, and the marketing would leave 2010. Two the versions: the base and the Touring; this last one will adopt a windscreen of generous dimensions and a set of three travelling bags. Maggiorni info on situated Jawa.
