Ducati 1098R Puma Edition for the Japan

To celebrate the victory in the world Superbike 2008 and the renewed partnership with the sponsor Puma, Ducati has realised at the end of last year, a very particular version of 1098R: the Puma Edition.

Built in suns 10 models and sold unfortunately only in Japan, the Puma Edition white Puma boasts an original colouring marked by the classic logotype on red background. Numbered with a special plate applied to the superior plate of the fork, it has been sold the motion from December 25 2008 at a price of about 35.000 €.



Knowing the passion of the Japanese people for the home products, it is possible quietly suppore that all the models have been sold to the flight. Goodness knows if in Italy this special edition would have been successful.

Presented to Milan Silver Surfer created by Roberto Rossi for Audi TP52 Sailing Team

His name is Silver Surfer as the boat that will compete in the circuit of international regatta Audi Med Cup 2009 but it is a Harley-Davidson. The Mantuan motion - stylist Roberto Rossi has created her in sole right and dedicated to Riccardo Simoneschi, helmsman and team leader of the TP52 Audi Q8 “Silver Surfer“.


Roberto Rossi, esteemed motion coach at world level, has wanted to underline for the second time the narrow connection between the world of the sail and that of Harley, using a language done from wise mechanical art, refined design, exclusive details and of high qualitative value. Already in 2008, on the eve of the launch for the regattas of Med Cup, the Mantuan motostylist had realised a special model for the team Audi.

The motorcycle Silver Surfer, realised in single model, is based on model Harley-Davidson Road King-Screamin' Eagle, it is of black and grey colour and in the exclusive design it returns tribute to the boat TP52 of Simoneschi. Single particularity there are the rigid purses in aluminium put to the sides of the motion, accessory never realised beforehand in the world of the builders of motion and you think up at Roberto's Rossi purposely to recall the colour aluminium of the boat.

For this year there has been prepared a system of unloading of the line Iper, lengthened to 450 mm, together with that 300 mm presented last year, considered fitter for the style of the bicylindrical one of Iwata.

The complete groups are disposable with terminal in approved aluminium, titanium with bottom carby approved, final nichrom and bottom in approved carbon; disposable also the connection in inoxidizable, catalytic steel approved EU ch. 5; the prices vary at 428 € for that in aluminium, to the 594 € for the version in titanium.
